Cooling off period
Any person that signs up on PeopleSoft for a UCT Sports Club has a 5 working day cooling off period, where you may withdraw as a member with a refund coming off your student fee account. After the cooling off period, you may withdraw as a member, but your subscription WILL NOT be refunded.
To withdraw from a club, students need to e-mail the club chairperson with their reason and confirmation of what day they signed up on PeopleSoft. The Club Chairperson then confirms the withdrawal and forwards this response to the Sports Coordinator of the club concerned who accesses the application for withdrawal and processes the withdrawal and a refund is issued off the students fee account within 30 days of confirmation of the cancellation.
