Strutting in our stride with every kick and jump, the University of Cape Town’s cheerleading squad is here to elevate your campus experience with unmatched enthusiasm and fun! We're not just a team; we’re a family that thrives on energy, passion, and camaraderie.
From dazzling performances at the basketball's Friday night lights to energizing university events like graduation and UCT alumni events, we fill the crowd with oo’s and ahh’s! That’s not all! We also enter cheerleading competition like varsity cup cheerleaders that rock! Where we placed in the top 3 two years in a row, winning in 2023. We also enter WPMCA and SAMCA which are well known cheerleading competitions in Western Cape and South Africa. Together, we work hard to raise the standards for UCT and showcase exceptional performances that fill us with pride.

We can’t wait to welcome you into our vibrant family! Auditions are just around the corner at the end of February, so make sure you save the date! Once you join our squad, there’s a membership fee of R500, setting you on the path to excitement and growth!
