What is Water Polo?

Water polo is a dynamic and exhilarating team water sport, blending the skills of swimming, basketball and rugby . Teams compete to score by tossing a ball into the opposing team's goal while defending their own. Players must constantly tread water using the "eggbeater kick" and can only handle the ball with one hand, making it a sport that requires exceptional endurance, strength, and strategy. It is known for its fast pace and high energy and challenges players to excel both physically and mentally.
