The UCT Runners Memorial 10km returns in 2026 after the 2025 race was cancelled due to a clash with the rescheduled USSA Track and Field Championships. Building on the outstanding success of the 2024 event, which attracted nearly 2,000 runners and celebrated UCT legend Isavel Roche-Kelly, this year’s race promises to be another memorable occasion on the Western Province road running calendar. The 2026 edition will honour another UCT great, Lindsay Weight, as UCT Athletics Club looks forward to welcoming runners, supporters, and officials back for what promises to be a special and fitting tribute.
