We are 9 days away from the UCT 10KM Memorial Race scheduled to take place on the 5^th of May 2024.

For the first time, the 41^st Edition of the race will incorporate an Inter-Res Race where residences will go Head to Head to win points at the finish line.

The res with fastest finishers will be crowned 2024 UCT 10KM Res Champion and will receive a trophy. In the years to come, the competition will remain a tradition of the UCT 10KM Memorial Run and other residences will have the opportunity to contest the trophy from current winners.

All finishers will receive medals. But the trophy will be received by the winning res.

Students in UCT Residences are therefore invited to enter and compete for their res.

Date; Sunday 5 May, 2024

Starts; 07:00am, UCT Middle Campus (close to the admissions office/ Kramer)

How to enter:

Online entries are live on Racepass (online entries will close on the 1^st of May 2024);

You can also enter at UCT Sport Centre (sport admin office at Upper Campus) or at the Sweat Shop (Claremont);  

Alternatively, you can enter on Race Day in the morning between 5:00am and 6:30am at Kramer Law building.
